Since 1998, with its sister organizations in ASEAN, worked in joint programs with the regulatory authorities of Member Countries on the harmonization of cosmetic regulations. The ASEAN Cosmetic Directive, modeled on the EU directive, with ASEAN characteristics, will be implemented from 1st January 2008 effecting labelling, GMP, Product Information File, claims, notification, post-market surveillance.
